This role combines a variety of responsibilities, from cooking and baking to front of house and barista duties, ensuring a dynamic and rewarding experience for the right candidate. ***
Do you have a passion for great food, coffee, and exceptional service? We’re looking for a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our kitchen & coffee lounge team! This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys a variety of tasks, from cooking and baking to front of house service and coffee making.
What You’ll Be Doing:
🍴 Preparing and cooking all menu items to a high standard
🎂 Baking scones, cakes, & pastries
📋 Following recipes and portion guidelines to ensure consistent quality and presentation
🍽️ Assisting with food preparation, plating, and maintaining high-quality standards
👋 Greeting and seating customers, taking orders accurately and efficiently
💪 Confidently operating the coffee machine and other kitchen equipment
☕ Preparing and serving a wide range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
✨ Maintaining a clean, organised kitchen and coffee lounge, including the service area, seating area, and restroom
🤝 Collaborating with the team to ensure smooth operations in both the kitchen and coffee lounge
🧽 Assisting with dishwashing and cleaning duties
What We’re Looking For:
✔️ Previous substantial experience in a culinary and barista role
✔️ Willingness to learn and grow with us
✔️ Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques (Must hold a minimum of Level 2 Food Hygiene & Safety certification)
✔️ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and multitask like a pro
✔️ Strong attention to detail and a commitment to our ‘First Class’ ethos
✔️ Initiative to work independently and as part of a team
✔️ Professionalism, enthusiasm, and a passion for hospitality
✔️ Excellent communication skills
✔️ Availability to work on Fridays & Saturdays
